Investing in People Means Investing in Better Service

At Ellis Winters, we believe that the best property advice starts with knowledgeable people. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to celebrate two members of our Chatteris team who have recently achieved their ARLA Propertymark qualifications and accreditation.

Congratulations to Michelle Simpson, our invaluable Senior Accounts & Sales Administrator, and Toni Williamson, one of our experienced Property Managers.

Both have achieved this respected industry qualification whilst continuing to work full-time and balancing busy family lives. Michelle completed her studies whilst raising two children and supporting both our Sales and Lettings departments, while Toni successfully juggled revision alongside her role in Property Management and life with three children.

Their dedication is a real credit to them both.

Why does an ARLA Propertymark qualification matter?

ARLA Propertymark is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for letting agents and property management professionals. Its qualifications demonstrate a strong understanding of the legislation, regulations and best practice that underpin the private rented sector.

For landlords, this means greater confidence that they’re receiving informed guidance in an industry where the rules continue to evolve.

For tenants, it provides reassurance that they’re dealing with professionals who understand the importance of compliance, fairness and delivering a high standard of customer care.

Ultimately, qualifications like these help ensure everyone receives a better experience.

Building on strong foundations

One of the most encouraging things both Michelle and Toni found during their studies was discovering just how much of the course content reflected the way Ellis Winters already operates.

Rather than simply working towards minimum legal requirements, many of the best practice principles promoted by ARLA Propertymark are already embedded in our day-to-day processes and customer service.

That was reassuring for them… and equally reassuring for us.

Professional qualifications don’t just add letters after someone’s name. They reinforce knowledge, build confidence and encourage continuous learning, helping us maintain the high standards our clients expect.

A commitment to continual improvement

We’re proud to have ARLA-qualified colleagues across our business, with team members continually investing in their professional development to stay ahead of industry changes.

Property is constantly evolving, with new legislation, compliance requirements and customer expectations emerging every year. Ongoing training ensures we’re always equipped to offer accurate advice, practical solutions and a professional service to everyone we work with.

Congratulations once again to Michelle and Toni on this fantastic achievement. Their hard work, commitment and willingness to keep learning are qualities that benefit not only their own careers but every landlord, tenant, buyer and seller who chooses Ellis Winters.

It’s another example of our commitment to doing things the right way. Not because we have to, but because we believe our customers deserve nothing less.
